What gets me out of bed in the morning: the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, having long conversations with my daughter.
I get a real kick out of: Delivering on a project, delighted client, acknowledgement, accomplishment, smiles at the end of a session.
What I most look forward to when working with a new client: Achieving alignment on what they want and what I bring, synergistic thinking and delivering on a promise. Delivering value and developing long lasting client relationship.
Outside of work you will find me: Running in the neighbourhood, facilitating men’s circles, swinging and mostly missing the golf ball, having my head buried in a book.
My dream client: Is clear about the challenge that must be solved and open to engaging on what an intervention would look like. Willing to give honest and open feedback.
The number one thing that I have learnt as a facilitator: I don’t have all the answers but have the skill to extract collective wisdom. Open facilitator begets open participants. Be accountable for your words and your actions and behaviours. Be curious about people and be prepared to receive what they have to offer.
